  I wish I can give zero!!!! I’ve been using this Tesco Express for over 2 years while staying nearby and I’ve never had any issues before. Most of the staff have always been respectful and decent with me. But yesterday around 1:35pm I had a really bad experience that honestly changed how I feel about the place. I was buying a couple of items and asked for £30 cashback. The staff member serving me shut it down straight away without even checking or asking how much first, just said “no cashback”. When I asked why, the response felt dismissive and rude. What upset me most wasn’t just being told no, it was the way it was done. After shopping there for so long, I felt judged and treated differently based on how I look. As a Black homeless man, that’s how it came across to me and it really didn’t sit right. I even went back in to ask for a supervisor because it bothered me that much. I’ve never felt like that in this store before, which is why I’m leaving this review. I’ve already reported it to Tesco customer care. Just being honest about my horrible discriminatory experience that left me feeling to avoid that shop by any chance!

  Lovely morning in Tesco just getting milk. Stalin as one of the colleagues very helpful and brilliant services making sure I was okay and if I needed help I really do appreciate it and Enegry like this for customers is needed

  The rude staff mistakenly charged me twice for the same item and had me wait more than 10 minutes to resolve it. “If you are in a hurry you can pay twice and leave.” Won’t come back again. With Aldi around the corner, hope we get an upgrade to anything but Tesco
