Never ever open on time… opens at 6am??? No it does not… and when asked I was just told it’s not open yet at 6:15am… to watch all 3 employees go into the store and lock the door behind them! Ffs… rude doesn’t cut it really… I work in Welwyn at the Tesco headquarters and I will be informing the management there that the store is not up to the usual standard expected…

I just bought some chocolates from this store. They have a large variety of the basic grossery items and you can also find variety of chocolates
I visited Tesco yesterday night and had a really positive experience thanks to one of the colleagues who assisted me. Unfortunately, I did not catch his name, but he was a shorter gentleman with a bald head.
He was extremely polite, helpful, and professional. He kindly helped me find the products I was looking for and also made the checkout process smooth and easy. I have visited many Tesco stores before, but I have not experienced this level of customer service before.
A big thank you to him for being so kind and helpful. He is a asset to the Tesco team.

Excellent customer service from Awais and the security guard Ahmed was really helpful to me when I needed someone to talk to and I really appreciate it
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experiences at this Tesco Express. After long shifts at work, I expect to be able to shop without feeling watched, targeted, or intimidated.
The new security guard’s behaviour goes far beyond normal loss prevention. He follows customers uncomfortably close around the store, stands directly behind you while you are paying and stares into your shopping bags, and continues hovering even as you are leaving the store. This is not discreet security, it feels like intimidation. I have witnessed him behaving this way towards multiple customers. What is particularly concerning is the clear inconsistency in how he treats people. I personally observed him being friendly and relaxed with a woman who appeared to be from the same cultural or religious background as him, even giving her a warm goodbye while she was leaving. However, with other customers, including myself, he hovers closely and acting in a far more intense and uncomfortable manner. To be clear, this concern is about unequal treatment based on appearance. When one customer is treated warmly and others are monitored aggressively without cause, it raises serious concerns about potential bias and discrimination in the store to customers. This creates a hostile shopping environment. I expect Tesco management to review CCTV footage, address this behaviour immediately, and ensure all customers are treated fairly and professionally. If this continues, I will be raising a formal complaint directly with head office
