  I’m extremely disappointed with how I was treated today. I’m a loyal customer and shop at this Tesco twice a day, every day. Yesterday I bought a 2L bottle of Coca-Cola Zero, which I discovered was completely flat and tasted wrong when I opened it. I returned it today expecting a refund or replacement for a faulty product, only to be told it couldn’t be accepted because it had been opened. This makes no sense—how could I know it was faulty without opening it? I explained it was a quality issue, not a change-of-mind return, but the staff member still refused to help. I became very frustrated and left the bottle at the till, telling them to throw it away. It’s not about the cost of one bottle; it’s about the principle and the poor customer service. I shop there twice every day, but after this experience I’ll no longer be giving this store my business. I hope Tesco takes this seriously and reviews how faulty products and customer complaints are handled.

  Usually the staff is polite and helpfull but today there was only one (Roni) to serve at the counter and help at the self checkouts around 13.40. I asked for a certain no. of scratchcard no. 4. He didn't get it at first which is ok, then I repeted it at least another 3 times as he was reaching for whatever except what I asked for, raising my voice to be heard which was embarassing with all the other customers behind in the queue. Instead of trying to understand he left me standing there like an idiot and went again to self checkouts which was so mortifying I had to leave. Armed with patience I came back a little later around 14 and I had written what I needed on a piece of paper so that there wouldn't be further misunderstanding and again he was reaching for another item which I had already told him before wasn't the one. Once again I had to be a bit loud so that finally I got what I needed. The whole process was so embarassing. It is not my fault if he doesn't understand a simple request of X no. of no. Y and makes no effort to serve customers, instead looking like I was rude or something. Not to mention not even good afternoor or hello when I approached the counter the first time.

  What on earth?? The staff at this store are so weird. The security guard was on my tail whilst I was looking through cartons of eggs to see which were undamaged. He pointed at me to another staff member and said, ‘That’s the girl, she’s been standing there for more than 10 minutes’ (completely false). He then treated me with utter unprofessionalism. I was holding the most expensive carton of eggs, and he was baffled when he realised his logic (that I had swapped the eggs inside the cartons) didn’t make sense. He then told me to “calm down” when I told him that I was uncomfortable and therefore walking away. The moody female staff member didn’t intervene one bit and just said, “I don’t know, he’s the one who saw you.” Absolutely unhinged. Who knew checking for undamaged goods would land me with a theft accusation.

  -Staff though really lovely barely speak English which makes it difficult to communicate ask questions etc -Constantly running out of stock , it’s almost impossible to ever get all items needed even if they are absolute basics -Not a nice/big selection, though that’s subjective -Couldn’t manage the evri returns and shut that down which is also sad -Was overcharged on counter Unfortunately it just feels like this shop isn’t managed well :(

  I am always greeted by the team here and I feel like this is my community shop. The latest addition to the team is Alfred the security guard. Very polite and friendly. Alfred and all the members of the team here greet my children and always stop to say hello to my non verbally autistic son who feels at home here. My son always directs me to the store. He doesn’t have friends due to his disability but the team here make him feel noticed. I love that about this store. We do most of our shopping here. I can drive to a larger Tesco but my son is not at ease when we go there. Well done to the entire team who deserve this well overdue comment
