  Local Tesco, absolutely horrendous store. The workers there are constantly shouting and the store is never fully stocked. When you need any assistance no body is ever around and they run the place like it’s some backwards market. The guy at the door who may also be a manager accused my husband of theft on absolutely no basis of any such behaviour. He was picking mayo up and simply chose to pick up another brand than what he originally picked up and put it back on the shelf. He was clearly watching under some suspicion however there was no action on my husbands part that made it seem like he may have pocketed a product. The interaction was overall weird and while trying to recognise they are doing their jobs, the managers approach is absolutely abysmal and out of pocket. All this interaction was happening while he was trying to check out. When leaving the store, he also remarked that if my husband was to return, he would need to show him his bag. Huh?!?!? Do workers in stores check every customers bag as they enter? Absolutely ridiculous. Will never be returning and genuinely feel unsafe that this is a local shop and how agitated this person was being.

  Security guy asked me at checkout if I put mayo in my bag, like I stole it, asked to inspect my bag full of groceries from Waitrose. Asked if I have receipt from Waitrose, lol. I refused and he said next time I come I have to show him my bag to which I said I won’t come here anymore. Also he is watching customers to the extend I felt uneasy. Please fire him he costs you customers. Im local and I won’t be coming anymore

  Not even worth 1 star. Absolute bell end of a manager. Major attitude problem. The stores useless, a little cupboard, only good for milk, if that. Imo, steer well clear
