  It stays open on Sundays till 11pm, while Sainsburys shuts at 5pm. So, it gives you an option for the last shopping bits at your local area. Range is obviously not huge, but people forget that it's local express for essentials, not supermarket. In my opinion and experience, staff are very friendly. People at the till are very polite and helpful, security says hello and bye. By the way, last year, Christmas Eve (me being not organised) I popped in for a gift bag. They didn't have the size I needed. However, this lovely lady asked me to wait and brought the gift bag of her own, she had inside. Which, I am ashamed, that I didn't get her name and didn't put a compliment about her, as she saved me! 🤗 I think, it's lovely little convenience store, which stays open late even on Sundays. With lovely staff. One thing is missing, is one self checkout for cash.

  Good to have a Tesco in the area. Wide selection of drinks. Personally I don’t really care about meal deals, but they have those too. Good opening times and friendly staff members too.

  !!PLEASE READ!! On this Sunday (3rd Nov 2024) they closed approx 15mins before their advertised "11pm" which personally I DON'T MIND at all if they are tired and wanna go home. HOWEVER, while I was standing right next to the 2 other customers who were hollering and actively arguing about closing too early, an employee with more authority came over and finally let the 2 guys inside and closed the door in my face when I tried to enter with them and just said "no" and walked off which I felt was hilarious because I wanted to get 1 item and was not argumentative at all. What I learned is if you want to go in 15 mins before stated closing times at this Tescos, you have to be rude and loud because being quiet and accepting gets the doors shut in your face even if you're a local that lives 20 seconds away and goes everyday like me. Incentive to be a Karen at this Tescos I guess.
