The service, food, and atmosphere at this Subway are impeccable!
Service: I remember the very first time I ordered from this Subway, it was through the app, and sadly, I had no idea I was even ordering from this branch. It was 9:23 when I placed the order, and silly me walked into the Northolt branch, only to realise I had to go to the Harrow one. I don’t want to go into too many details about my journey, but I will say I arrived at 9:58 (they close at 10:00pm). To my utter delight, the worker wasn’t dismissive or anything like that but very happy to see me, and had such a welcoming demeanour even though it was essentially closing time, and I can see the inconvenience I might’ve caused as being the last order to be picked up.
Anyway, I’ve visited this Subway a few more times now, and not once have the staff been anything but perfect. I don't know about you guys but I quite like having small talk when ordering, and the staff are always so friendly and open to talk, even if it’s close to the end of their shift. They NEVER rush me or make me doubt my order and such. These workers are genuinely the hardest workers I know and honestly I even go out of my way to come to the Harrow branch now!
Food: I genuinely haven’t had a bad experience at Subway with these guys, even when I picked it up very late. That one time, the Subway was still piping hot, as well as the cookie I ordered (I know many are always concerned if the cookie is going to taste ‘old’, and I'm here to end that rumour). Also, this Subway truly doesn’t skimp on the food like you might expect; they fill it so much that you don’t even need to get extra, and I’m a big guy, I would know. Many Subways are a little reluctant to serve the actual portions, but these guys FILL IT UP, and truly don’t let ANYTHING go to waste. Plus, you can literally taste how fresh everything is.
Atmosphere:The area where these guys keep all the food is always SPOTLESS. Yes, sometimes the floor looks a bit messy, but they usually have someone to tidy it up quickly, even though it does seem like they're a bit understaffed. Aside from that, it’s a really clean environment, and I'm always happy to eat there.
Don't even think about it. Go to this subway.
I waited an hour to get my food despite EVERYONE who came in afterwards being served before us. We politely asked once where our food was and she said she’d made it, Bear IN MIND, it’d already been 30 minutes. After an hour we asked again as it was quite busy and the worker said she had made it but called our number the whole hour, but she didn’t, the food was just sat there it was cold and she opened it back up right infront of us. The audacity???? VEry disappointed with the service I won’t be back at this branch EVER AGAIN HOW DARE YOU TREAT ME LIKE THAT I HATE SUBWAY NOW!!!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬 I just wanted some cookies but boss walked away…my heart shattered into a million pieces. Not cool dude. Not cool.

I have previously had 2 bad experiences but today the lovely gentleman that served me Neil was great. Had a positive attitude , carried good conversation, smiley and it was a lovely vibe overall. Deffo deserves a raise , he’s very good, and his customer service was on point 10/10 for him

1. If I could give zero stars, I honestly would. The staff at the South Harrow Subway are some of the most disrespectful and unhelpful I have ever encountered. I’m writing this based on repeated experiences.
My first experience was when the store had just been renovated, they introduced self-service screens to place orders. I am not very confident with technology, but I still tried to use it. However, I noticed that what I wanted was not available as an option on the screen, so I politely asked the staff member on duty, Dev, if I could place my order with him instead.
He seemed unhappy that I had asked and responded with a clear attitude. He then made me wait for around seven minutes while walking around and chatting with someone in the back, despite me standing right in front of him. When he finally started taking my order, he kept stopping to do unnecessary things, which made the process even slower. It felt deliberate and very unprofessional.
This was a very unpleasant experience. If a customer is unable to use the self-service screen, staff should be willing to help without showing frustration or attitude. Customer service is the core of their role, and this behaviour was completely unacceptable. Because of this, I stopped visiting this branch and now go to another Subway further away, as the atmosphere and treatment I received here were genuinely disappointing.
2. This was my second visit to this branch, today at around 16:00. I decided to give it another chance after seeing a different staff member working, hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, it was still disappointing.
When I arrived, there was already a gentleman being served. I noticed some confusion with his order, particularly with the sauce, and instead of resolving it politely, the staff member seemed dismissive. Although this was not my order, it did set the tone.
When it was my turn, I ordered a footlong tuna sub. A footlong is supposed to come with four full scoops of tuna, but only about half scoops were added, leaving the sub very dry. Throughout taking my order, the staff member had earphones in and was continuously on the phone, which felt unprofessional and distracting.
When I gave my toppings order, items were added that I did not ask for, including lettuce mixed with other toppings and peppers. Despite this, the phone conversation continued, and there was little attention paid to my order. After the sub was made, it was not even cut in half and was simply wrapped and handed to me.
Customer service should be attentive and respectful. Being fully present while serving customers is part of the job, and experiences like this take away from the enjoyment of the meal and make customers hesitant to return. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet basic expectations of service or quality.
