NAY, this ambrosia opened my eyes to the world of Greggs, showing me my sinful ways of Pret and Café Nero. I have been called upon to leave my earthly possesions behind, becoming a monk and serving the ways of Greggs. This outlet of food, made for mere mortals, is fit to nourish the very gods themselves!

I was catching a 9:00 PM coach to Manchester and thought it would be the perfect spot to grab a quick bite for the journey. Unfortunately, my disappointment could not be measured. At that time of the evening, there was hardly anything left that was suitable for vegetarians. When I asked the counter staff if there was any veggie stock left, they simply told me, "Well, it's because we're about to close." While I understand wanting to minimize food waste at the end of the day, there was still plenty of food available for meat-eaters, but absolutely nothing left for vegetarians. Dietary requirements shouldn't be treated as an afterthought just because it's late. If you are going to stay open until a certain hour to serve travelers, you should ensure *all* customers have at least one or two options available. Definitely something the management here needs to think about and improve on.

We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
