Food was good, prices were fair, and the bartender was on it — helped us pick what to get, kept the drinks coming, cleared plates quick, no fuss, just the right amount of attention without hovering. Had the fish & chips and a scotch egg, both exactly what you want from a good pub — solid portions, tasty, nothing overdone. Would go back.
