Came to London from Canada looking for an authentic English pub and I found it!! The Cock & Lion is the old “1746” place I wanted to see, and the food/pints/atmosphere were spot on! I even met the owner Mark who made us feel at home.

Friendliest pub in London! Fortunate to be staying up the street, so has been our local for the week we have been in town. The history of this place is amazing, all researched by the landlord Mark. Mark and his team provide exceptional service, food and drinks, made us feel so welcome every time we came in. Thankyou for a great small town pub experience in the big city.

What an amazing local restaurant the food and atmosphere were awesome and the owner was gracious as well!! I think we had our best Nashville hot honey chicken sandwich ever!! Keep up the great work! See you again when the Philadelphia Eagles take over London!!

My mates and I had a great night with, Mark and Sheena, the hosts of the lovely and welcoming establishment. It was a lively Saturday night and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. I had the steak frites and it was both delicious and perfectly prepared. The Guinness was chilled and poured with great care and the flavors shined through so much so that I thought I was back in Dublin. My mates also enjoyed the double burgers. I can’t wait to go back.

Outstanding food, service and drink. We just came from Dublin today and found this beautiful pub in Marylebone. The Guinness was just as good as Dublin. The food was fantastic. We had the double beef burger and steak frites which was perfectly cooked. The owner was amazing to speak to. Mark, Sheena, Fallon and Zeb know how hospitality works. The made us feel like this is our pub even though we come from Philly. Our new London home next time we visit Thank you Team
