  Poor Customer Service. The employees run everywhere except interacting with the customer, leaving customers to wait for ages.

  disappointing, the store closes at 11 and i was being refused entry at 10:47, there were people in the store and all i wanted was water which is cheapest at coop due to member price 39p big bottle. it wouldn’t have taken me 2 minutes let alone the 13 to when the store actually closes, choosing to go to coop meant i was unable to go to a different store as it would be closed by the time i got there and water there is 3 times the price of the member price water at coop even if the stores weren’t shut. it was the same security guard woman that’s so often racially profiles me, no matter how many times i go in that store and scan my membership card and always pay for my groceries and my bags (which i’ve seen many other people of other ethnicities get away with), she follows me around the store and watches me at the checkout, but any other time she’s stood at the front door like she was last night when she didn’t let me in, even though there was plenty of people in the store she could’ve been following around, but because they aren’t a black woman like me, she doesn’t profile them as thieves, even after i’ve withdrew money at the ATM in front of her, she still feels to make me uncomfortable as i shop, i now just go further to west norwood where i do not receive that treatment, but getting shut out 13 minutes before your listed closing time made me write this review. Don’t bother with this co-op if you’re black.

  Management at this store are totally incapable, and seemingly expoiting their staff! Prioritising online deliveries over actual customers in store. The poor staff, whom are trying to be helpful are hopelessly overstretched. Management needs to change urgently. Also, Management are incapable to restock properly, leaving shelves starved of the most basic items almost every day. Nice serving staff, very awful, incompetent Management.

  I go to the co op for a convenience and a some specific foods I like staff are friendly and generally helpful
