  Franz Kafka would find this branch of Co-op too on the nose for a novel. Horrendously organised, signs up for deals they refuse to honour and out of stock items for deals that they do. Staff regularly have AirPods in and ignore customers asking for help despite being the only people on the shop floor. Inquiring about any available stock or where to find things is either met with a shrug or a vague attempt to call a colleague without any clarity on the situation you’ve enquired about. The cherry on top currently is the hole in the ceiling with brown water dripping into a plastic bag suspended above customers heads. Only come here if you can’t afford an escape room, but want a similar level of mystery and desperation to leave within a limited time.

  Good for picking up basic food items, valuable local resource. Quite narrow aisles, so can be difficult passing others. Mostly self-service tills, which can be problematic and frustrating. Not enough actual staff around. Gets very busy on the weekend.

  On road parking outside and the cashpoint is useful. It seems, delivery problems adding to stock being limited and some empty shelves. Shame about ridiculous exit/entry layout, the poor design has created an awkward space. Also be careful of the badly fitted vinyl flooring that's lifting and bubbling throughout - seems hazardous. Self-service tills awkward area, on exiting it combines with the queue for tobacco/lottery counter and staff access. Particularly narrow especially for trolleys, prams and wheelchairs to negotiate. Polite staff at the counter wishing you a good day.
