- SSskelly211May 11, 20264.0i popped by the other day as i was passing through the area, the shop was quite limited in stock and had an odd smell however a lovely young girl by the name of safar was great and kind especially as me and my husband were on the hunt for a few ingredients and didn’t know where they were, she even grabbed up steak from the back which they kept as she explained shoplifters stole them frequently. Kindness goes a long way!
- VAV. AApr 10, 20263.0Overall, the store is okay, but lately I’ve felt that the customer service has declined quite a bit. Staff come and go, so I’m hoping it eventually returns to the more friendly atmosphere it used to have. I also want to mention that some of the five-star reviews over the past six months feel a bit misleading. It’s quite noticeable that some colleagues from the store have reviewed it using their real names. I understand they likely feel proud of their work and want to support the store, which is fair enough, but it does come across as slightly deceptive. Some of the names I recognise belong to genuinely nice people, while others I’ve had less positive experiences with. It also makes me wonder if there’s been some encouragement from management for staff to leave reviews. That said, aside from the customer service issues, the store itself is decent in terms of cleanliness and general layout, which is why I’ve settled on a three-star rating overall. However, stock availability is inconsistent — sometimes the store is well stocked, but quite often shelves are left empty. On top of that, the milk fridge seems to break down regularly, at least once a month, which is frustrating.
