  Be very careful here . Won't provide a receipt . Will not provide appropriate number of bags for your shopping . Rude attitude and terrible customer service . Check your receipt because they are dishonest staff and terrible portrayal of the coop brand I've ever seen .

  So disappointed. I now go to a supermarket further away to avoid this one. Staff are all speaking in another language to each other, shouting across you, breath in your face, the self checkout always has issues and staff don’t know how to fix it, the manager is always on the phone and I’ve had to wait twice for him to finish his personal phone calls to help me at the self service because the other staff didn’t know what to do. The “cleaners” (unsure if they were staff or private) were dressed in long scarfs and burkas that could have got caught up in the machines they were using, they were in the way of the tills and aisles, I got hit in the face with their clothing by accident as their clothes were getting in the way so they were flinging the fabric around to move it. They were also speaking another language. Another member of staff had terrible body odour whilst stocking the fridges that I had to just leave and this was in the morning so less excuse for bad body odour like this. They only offer plastic bags that break and rip when there’s a slight weight in them and they charge 80p for them. It’s such a shame as it’s a very convenient location but being in there causes so much inconvenience, it’s easier to do the extra 5 minute walk to another shop. I’ve been in there multiple times and have given it chances and every time, I regret spending my time and money in there.

  Really lovely Co-op store. The staff are always friendly, helpful and welcoming. The shop is clean and well organised, and the evening staff are especially polite and efficient. Always a pleasant experience shopping here. Would definitely recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  Finally, a good large shop near my workplace that didn't gouge the price (very near CHX hospital).
