  I live really close to this "No-op" and it is the closest grocery I have compared to Harlesden Tesco or Ladbroke Geove Sainsbury's which takes over 25min walk. I am not writing this to complain but I am just hoping actions can be taken so anyone local (like myself) can feel listened and have an overall better experience. Apart from limited stock and luck of products majority of the time, the main problem is limited number of staff or either luck of company management. The employees are constantly busy and not aware of the tills, issues nor customers support. Self-checkout tills are majority of the time not working or, if they seem to be working, they might have some items with wrong weight imput or card reader keep not authorise the payment despite taking the money (personal experience example: the middle till near the windows, after "not authorised" payment x3 but still card reader taking the amount of £20 x3, only when I thought my 4th time to move to a different till, it was approved by the different card reader! ((I am dealing with my bank to claim the £60 back which went through on my bank but not in the store))). There was nobody from the staff to report it but I hope the security have informed them, (I hope as I kindly inform him), to avoid future bad reviews. Empty/broken freezers, discounted food not really discounted, member deals written on labeles saying something (example 2 for 1 for same item or just discouned) but then on the till showing something else, very limited amount of primary food like pasta, rice, eggs, vegetables or plant base/meat alternatives.. but the good thing is that there are a lot of candies... and crisps.. and a lot of processed meat, ready to be stolen... 🫠 I have witnessed probably 3 times group of homeless/thieves entering the store, grabbing meat, salmon or cheese and run and I really hope Co-op has the intention to keep full timers security as it is not safe for customers and for staff members to have these kind of situations where shouting and blocking people stealing. I can see now with security there is more safety, so I hope you keep having them on the door always! I am really sorry to mention this final bit but some fridges in the vegetable section create a very bad smell in the store sometimes and, I am really sorry to say that some of staff members have very low personal hygiene. I completely understand it's hot weather and they are constantly working but it happened multiple times in different seasons that I couldn't stand next to few staff members which it was very shocking. I know they all are doing their best, I can see it.. but something is not right and if you handle food you should be having at least a standard hygiene. I hope this can be seen as a constructive feedback not as complaint.. in the end this will still be our local and closest grocery store and I really hope "No-op" can be called Co-op again and can give more attention to this.

  I’ve been shopping at this store for years and never had any problems before. Recently, though, there’s been a new security guard who keeps specifically following me around the store and watching me check out my items. Honestly, it’s starting to make me feel uncomfortable. I understand security staff are there to do their job, but it feels excessive and like I’m being singled out. As a young POC, it’s hard not to feel that this may be part of the reason. I’d appreciate it if management could speak to their staff and make sure customers are made to feel comfortable while shopping.
