  I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at this Co-op. Unfortunately, the attitude of some of the staff has completely put me off shopping here and has even affected my perception of the Co-op brand as a whole. The staff often come across as though they own the store rather than represent a company that should value its customers. Instead of treating people with respect and understanding, interactions can feel confrontational and intimidating. For example, if a customer accidentally drops and damages an item, they’re made to feel cornered and pressured into paying immediately, with comments implying they won’t be welcome back otherwise. It creates an uncomfortable atmosphere and leaves customers feeling embarrassed rather than supported. I’ve also witnessed incidents where staff have chased people they believed had stolen items from the shop, and on one occasion I saw someone being brought back into the store in full view of other customers, including children. Regardless of the circumstances, scenes like that are upsetting to witness and create a very unpleasant environment for families. What makes this even more frustrating is that, despite staff appearing very strict when dealing with customers, they are often nowhere to be found when customers genuinely need assistance. I’ve had to knock on the staff door just to find someone so I could make a purchase. It makes you wonder why customer service seems to be such a low priority. The biggest shame is that when I’ve spoken to friends and family about these experiences, many are genuinely surprised because they’ve visited other Co-op stores where the staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. That tells me this isn’t a Co-op problem—it’s a problem with how this particular store is being managed and how its staff represent the company. I hope Co-op takes this feedback seriously because one poorly run store can damage customers’ trust in the entire brand. Respect, professionalism, and basic courtesy cost nothing, yet they make all the difference.

  Understaffed. I saw many times people stealing stuff. This shop is also very dirty, not surprised when you see what kind of people live here.
