  Bought a croissant and had an allergic reaction. Double checked the allergens and it came up empty, so it was definitely cross contaminated. Either the tongs have not been washed or cleaned in ages or it's in their preparation. Either way, if you have allergies, stay clear

  Well, there is a lot said in the comments about this store, for the reason or without one. I would just say, it's a pretty convenient store with a good choice of everything you need, the fruits and vegetables are usually decently fresh (only few times in 2 years I ran into shelves full of near-expiring berries etc., probably some overstocking problem occuring from time to time), meat is fine, the pastries are pretty tasty. This store (or rather the staff working there) has a very tough challenge just because of being located close to the tube station with a bunch of aggressive homeless people and kids with knifes around. Working here is already pretty tough, and taking into account the physical and mental condition of some folks trying to steal from the shop gives a good understanding of staff's (lack of) motivation when they do not want to risk their lives and health to save a couple of pounds. It's also one of the least shops that is open from 7 am to 11 pm almost every single day in the area, and not with some weird suspicious stuff but with good and generally fresh food (the other closest is Sainsburry, which I saw running out of stock even more frequently). So let's pause for a moment, try to keep the context in mind, and give those guys who work here appreciation they deserve (probably except that guy that sometime ignores me when I am waiting for the staff approval at the cash desk for eternity 😂)

  Horrible racist staff punching a homeless without handling the situation like an adult , the only thing that’s good about this store is the sweets, and the food, I’m not coming back until that one staff is removed, also he refused to give my nan his name (yes I’m a kid) period point full STOP .

  VERY CONVENIENT SMALL CO OP This store has a small section for vegan/plant base products from Suma Tuno Protein bars etc BUT You need to bring back that honeycomb gold crunch bar PLEEEEEASE
