Food is overpriced but it's convenient and you can occasionally get some good deals if you're a member or checking their reduced fridge. They are often out of stock, while simultaneously clogging the aisles with new stock. Try to avoid unless necessary.

Dear All,
I write to share with you a deeply unpleasant experience I had a few minutes ago at your Co-op store located on Forest Hill Road, London, SE22.
During my visit, I overheard two male Asian shop assistants speaking to each other in their own language, using extremely obscene, vulgar and offensive language about a customer. While they may have assumed that no one around them understood what they were saying, my partner is Asian, and as a result I understand a bit of Urdu and Punjabi. I was able to comprehend the unacceptable and derogatory comments the floor staff were making about a customer. At the time of my visit I was wearing Meta AI-compatible glasses and actively using them, so I have a recording of this incident which I have saved on my files and can make it available to management upon request.
This incident seriously falls below the ethos and philosophy of Co-op, as well as universal customer care and mutual respect.
Although I am not a frequent visitor at this particular branch, after witnessing such a disrespectful and offensive environment, I shall never set foot in this store again.
I strongly recommend that management seriously review the standards of customer care and the training provided to sales staff at this location. Professionalism and respect should be maintained at all times, regardless of the language being spoken.
It brings me great sadness and disappointment to have witnessed such a poor standard of customer care at this store, and I hope that management will take the necessary steps to address this issue promptly.
Yours sincerely,
Andrey Gladkov (Mr)

I have been visiting this shop for many years. It isn't very large but it does have a good selection of items. The opening hours are very good.
I have never found the staff to be rude. If I ask for help the staff assist me without any problems or difficulty.
