This Co-op comes up first on my DPD list to take the parcel to -excellent 👍🏻 I think.
Except when I get there and stand in the Q for a while, a member of staff comes up to me and asks if I’m a driver dropping off.
No I say.
“Well that parcel is too big, we only have a small shelf and the manager says it’s a health and safety issue”
It’s not massive, like I can hold it in my arms easily and how does she know anyway? Like neither of us have measured it.
It says ‘DPD service’ on the list, same as all the others, not ‘small shelf store’. And it sounds like they have to take the parcels from drivers anyway..

This Co Op in DALSTON yesterday sold me stale gone off Co op Cookies it's was like eating a hard brick that almost broke my teeth! and they hardly have any stakes when I order so annoying. Fix up and get fresh Cookies and more stakes don't have them going off over a week and sell them to people. And you don't have some of the items I want then you substitute with some items I don't like
It's annoying.

Quite remarkably appalling. Staff rude and defensive. Does no one train them in how to speak to people before letting them loose on the general public? The levels of theft in this store are spectacular. You can actually stand and watch people walking out with stuff. They do however, only challenge the people who are genuine customers!
I've never been anywhere quite like it.
Never again.

Wow this is the second time, the previous one was from near Dalston Kingsland station. I asked my entire order to be cancelled because of a specific item if it isn’t in stock. And it was NOT in stock “again”… I usually order through Deliveroo, but I tried uber eats last week, and it didn’t have the “cancel entire order if it isn’t available” but I did leave a note under clearly stating to be cancelled. They substituted the item instead, I got really annoyed and went to the store, I left the item there which I payed for and didn’t even get a refund. The point is I will not use or consume something that I do not like. Uber eats customer service was also really bad too, I called but couldn’t get through, whereas Deliveroo sorts it out in an instant. Today, 6th February I ordered through Deliveroo, thinking that it might be in stock this time, and chose the option where it says substitute or cancel entire order, so I chose cancel entire order, because that’s the main reason why I’m ordering a specific item and want it cancelled, if it’s not available. When I went there last time, they showed me the uber eats account that the note did not show up, I said okay fair enough. Can’t argue if the mistake is uber eats. BUT Deliveroo isn’t like that, if they can see substitute item I’m sure they also see cancel entire order. So they have substituted it once again… Well I did request a refund from Deliveroo customer service online chat, also submitted separately attaching the picture of the item which I have received. Honestly it’s annoying for everything to be substituted, stock check should be a regular thing, if it’s a busy store than it should be checked more than it should be.. or have more than one manager etc anyway I won’t be ordering from coop again, my experiences were not great and nothing I ordered was correct everything gets substituted. It’s annoying. Sorry coop.
