  We ate the "all you can eat" breakfast. Super deal at £13. Coffee, juices, granola, eggs, sausage, black pudding, and so much more. If you include all that the breakfast is a fabulous deal. Very clean and staff is friendly. Highly recommend the breakfast buffet.

  Very disappointed. Me and my family were very looking forward to trying a new restaurant. Sadly the food was very poor, very slow and not particularly friendly service and very expensive for what we had. I had to send my steak back as I’d asked for it to be cooked rare but was well done! When they returned the new steak was rare but the fat had not been rendered making it chewy and unpleasant. My daughter had pasta off the children’s menu and it was inedible, tasted like mushed up baby food. I don’t mind paying a higher amount for a quality meal but this really wasn’t. We definitely won’t be returning.

  I'm honestly blown away by the help and dedication to detail that Ezekiel and all the staff at Bar+Block displayed to make my 60th birthday celebration so special. Arranging a get-together from Spain, for 20 close friends and family, is no mean feat. However, even though I was changing arrangements constantly, nothing was ever too much trouble. On the day, I had such an amazing time. The food was fantastic, wine and beer flowed and everything was perfect. And very good value for money. My recommendation would be that, whether you're staying at the Premier Inn (which is literally above the restaurant), popping into Sutton for a meal with friends/family, or arranging a bigger, special event (even 40+ people can be accommodated) - the welcome and the service is wonderful. Very few places in Sutton are able to manage large parties of people, but Bar+Block in Sutton nailed it completely. Thank you to all of you at Bar+Block, I will most certainly be coming back.
