ACE Pizza began serving slices at Hackney pub The Pembury Tavern back in 2018. In 2025 the team (led by Rachel Jones) opened their first bricks-and-mortar restaurant, down the road in Victoria Park. ACE Pizza uses a biga pre-ferment for a light and crispy base, falling somewhere in between the chew of Neapolitan dough and the structure of a New York slice. Expect snacks, cocktails, soft serve and local beers.
