  Lovely shop clean organised Was very busy when I went Used the coffee shop was pleasant Feel they could have done with some more staff as key items were empty time was 1pm

  Aisles properly labelled to meet customers requirements. Staff very unhelpful, lots of self checkout tills where you waste unnecessary time. The wait to use self checkout tills is 15 to twenty minutes. Clubcard deals are properly posted for customers with Tesco clubcard. Cash machines outside. Plenty of car parking space and also a petrol station. Tidy and clean throughout but unfortunately customers litter the outside area.

  I had lunch at the cafe last Thursday 7/5 and was served by 2 lovely members of staff. The salad was made to order. I wish we have the same cafe at my local Tesco Extra!

  Absolutely disgraceful customer service received today at this store. From one of the Managers called ‘Rubina’. Paid for shopping at the till in cash. They now have machines that take your notes at the till, to check for forgeries. Which is a smart idea. So when paying for over £200 worth of produce. One of the notes the machine wouldn’t accept. Every other note, went through just fine. The cashier called over ‘Rubina’ who stated its store policy if the machine rejects the note. They won’t accept it. The note was perfectly fine, had all the relevant holograms and had come from the bank. ‘Rubina’ was essentially accusing us of attempting to spend a forgery. Did she keep the forgery? Nope. Did she phone the police? Nope. Because she could clearly tell the note was absolutely fine. And was spent a short time later in the same Tesco’s Petrol Station. So why refuse us service? Accuse us of forgeries? And why when we have had this issue previously with their inconsistent machines. Has the cashier checked the note & just popped it in the till? When was this new policy introduced. Next time we will ask them to phone the police, because we will not be accused of forgeries or refused service because of this disgusting Manager’s ignorance. We have been shopping weekly at this Tesco for 20 years. You have just lost a long term customer. We will be going elsewhere from now on. Thanks ‘Rubina’. Awful manager & appalling customer service.
