I gave it a low rating of 2 stars because the queuing system really does not work well. If there are five people waiting ahead of you, you still have to wait for all five to be seated before a single diner is seated, even when there is clearly a free table suitable for one person.
The staff may have been tired or busy, but unfortunately they did not give off any sense of hospitality. Their manner felt quite stern, almost like being spoken to by a headmaster rather than welcomed as a customer.
The service was also disappointing. I ordered a starter and a main, but both were served at the same time, so by the time I finished my starter, my main course was already cold. The biggest let-down was the waiting time. They claimed food comes out of the kitchen in around eight minutes, but I waited nearly 47 minutes, only to receive both my starter and main together.
For those reasons, I scored it very low. Would I visit again? Maybe, but only if I had no other choice. Otherwise, I do not think I would come back.
PS: the beer wasn’t cold which I should knock down extra 2 stars
Our experience at The Curator was, without question, the worst dining experience of our trip.
As Indian customers, we left with the distinct impression that we were being treated differently from those around us. While other tables appeared to receive friendly, attentive service, our interactions were marked by passive aggression, dismissiveness, and an attitude that suggested we were somehow inconveniencing the staff simply by being there.
Requests that should have been routine were met with visible irritation. Food was delivered in a manner that felt less like hospitality and more like a reluctant obligation. At no point did we feel genuinely welcome.
What made the experience particularly upsetting was the contrast. We watched staff engage warmly with neighbouring tables while our own table was treated coldly and with little respect. Whether intentional or not, the difference was impossible to ignore.
The food itself became secondary to the uncomfortable atmosphere. No customer should leave a restaurant feeling singled out, unwelcome, or judged because of who they are.
The Curator prides itself on hospitality, but our experience reflected the opposite. We left disappointed, frustrated, and with serious concerns about how customers from different backgrounds are treated. We will not be returning and would strongly encourage management to reflect on the culture and standards of service being provided.

I just wanted to leave a review for the guy on the bar yesterday, I think his name was Peter. I didn't spend much time there, just enough to order a sweet white, but needless to say, I had had a bit of a crappy morning prior to getting my flight that day and wasn't really in the mood to speak to anyone. To cut a long story short the wine was nice but the conversation was good as well and I just left feeling a lot better and so I just thought, do a good deed and repay kindness for kindness, thanks for making my day a little bit brighter Peter.

We showed up at around 1130, and the place was absolutely packed. We waited in linen all of three minutes - they were extremely efficient at getting us seated and a server was with us within 30 seconds. Our servers name was Kasia, and she took extraordinary good care of us; she made a custom order for my wife (who was miserable with a cold) and made us feel very welcome. Whatever training program you have for your severs, put her in charge of it. Any time we’re flying through Heathrow we will seek out The Curator for a break from the airport madness!
Disgusting discrimination and unacceptable double standards
I am utterly appalled by the blatant discrimination and terrible service we experienced at this restaurant. From the very beginning to the very end, we were subjected to a clear and deeply uncomfortable double standard.
Not only was our ordering process incredibly slow due to being ignored, but the same thing happened when we were ready to pay. We repeatedly waved for assistance, but the waiter intentionally looked past us. To make matters worse, she reluctant to process our payment, until her colleague had to remind her a second time.
The most infuriating part was watching this same waiter actively and enthusiastically welcome and serve other customers who arrived **after** us.
Treating guests differently based on appearance or race is disgusting. The food is irrelevant when a restaurant lacks basic human decency and professional ethics. Avoid this place at all costs if you do not want to be treated like a second-class citizen.
