  They are ignoring the many requests ( not just myself and customers I know)to turn the music down. It's too loud and disrupting, we can't hear ourselves talking properly, I come shopping here regularly but it's putting me off. My son has autism and can't even come into the shop.

  I rarely shop here and unfortunately it’s almost always a poor experience. On my most recent visit, I stopped by to use a gift voucher and do my weekly shop. As I was in a hurry, I used the self-scan device expecting a quick checkout. Instead, a member of staff unpacked all of my neatly packed bags and rescanned my entire shop because they thought I’d missed scanning a 70p pack of water bottles. What should have been a quick shop turned into a 15 min ordeal. It was embarrassing and felt like I was being accused of stealing, despite buying many items worth far more than the water. I understand random checks are necessary, but this felt excessive and accusatory. To make matters worse, there are often dodgy people outside the store asking customers for money. This time I was directly approached while loading my shopping into my car, which made me feel uncomfortable. Overall, another disappointing experience and a reminder of why I rarely shop at Tesco.

  I visited Tesco Extra Hornchurch on 6 July at around 11:30am. My coin became stuck in the trolley lock, so I asked the security guard for help. He told me he couldn't help because he didn't have the key, but he also didn't suggest that I speak to a member of staff who might have been able to assist. It was disappointing to be left without any guidance. I hope staff are better informed in future so customers can be directed to someone who can help with simple issues like this.
