It is rare to come across someone who goes above and beyond simply through the way they treat customers. Veena was attentive, patient, and made me feel genuinely valued as a customer. Her professionalism, enthusiasm, and kindness are a real credit to Greggs. Excellent customer service like this should absolutely be recognised. Veena is a fantastic member of the team and a true asset to Greggs. I left the store with a smile and would be more than happy to return. I ordered through uber eats and the order I recieved was for a totally different person. The poor driver proved that there were no other items that he was given. When contacting Greggs in Greenford, not once, not twice but three times for each time to be asked to explain everything again and being asked to call back in 5 minutes whilst they sorted the order. I know i spoke to the same person each time but lying and each time havi g to calmly and politely explain. Nothing got sorted apart from their lies, patronising tone saying darling after trying to fob me off by blaming the fact that I even ordered as it was busy, or the drivers fault, or the fact that they could not tell the difference between two names which are not alike. Putting that to one side, it was the reluctance to rectify anything and simply saying its not their problem sort it with uber eats for a refund which child take up to 10 days. No offer of sending the order with excuse they don't have a driver. They are not fit to work with customers and unable to communicate or respect anyone. No order, no money back and no offer to make another order and not even a sorry and blaming the person that ordered and the driver. .bunch of con artists.

What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling ÂŁ450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
