The whole staff and manager start shouting at me non-stop, despite me apologising (not sure why I apologised, I just wanted to pay and get out; was so close to leave without the food but why would I do that). Rajinder kaur on duty was very slow and appeared uninterested in serving customers promptly, which made the queue move painfully slowly. On top of that, their behaviour felt unprofessional - there was a lack of attention to customers and a dismissive attitude, which gave the impression of laziness rather than care for patrons. Reports on general service quality at Greggs also include customers finding staff rude, slow, and inattentive in various branches. Trustpilot This experience made what should have been a quick stop into a frustrating visit. I hope management addresses these issues so customer service improves.

What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
