I've never felt moved to review a Tesco before, but here we are. I visited between about 6.15 to 6.40 today, Tuesday 16th June and found myself confused and unsettled. Stopping outside, I realised why - the self-checkout staff member had not just acknowledged my existence, but she actually looked me in the eye with genuine welcome. Being treated with actual friendliness and personality shouldn't feel like such a shock, but it is. She also let the security guy know that I had an item with a tag that wouldn't deactivate. He was equally personable. Please congratulate your staff on completely unsettling my future expectations for supermarkets.
Edit to add: there was even a staff member collecting litter around the trees by the car park! Absolutely floored me!

I would like to make a complaint regarding a security guard with blonde hair at your store.
I have been shopping at this store for over 20 years and have never had any issues. Recently, however, this security guard has been following me around the store, watching me in multiple aisles, and even following me. I have never shoplifted or given any reason to be treated with suspicion.
I do not understand why I am being followed and stared at while shopping. If I am simply purchasing items and proceeding to the checkout, there is no reason for me to be monitored so closely. This behaviour has made me feel uncomfortable, unsafe, and embarrassed.
The store is equipped with CCTV, so if there were any genuine concerns, there would be evidence to support them. Without any evidence of wrongdoing, I do not believe it is appropriate for a customer to be followed throughout the store.
As a long-standing customer, I am very disappointed by this experience. The situation has made me feel unwelcome, and as a result, I am seriously considering no longer shopping at this store or company. I do not get this
I would appreciate an explanation and for this matter to be investigated.

I had a disappointing experience at this store today. The staff member assisting at the self-checkout was quite rude and unhelpful when we were trying to make a purchase, despite both adults having valid ID for the alcohol purchase.When I requested to speak with a manager, my request was refused, which made the situation even more frustrating.
I understand that staff must follow store policies, but customer service and respectful communication are equally important. I hope the store can provide additional customer service training to ensure customers are treated politely and professionally in the future.She was an Indian lady to be precise at around 13.00. Please look into the matter.
