I got a delivery this evening and the chicken was raw & chewy and made me feel sick. Was on hold waiting to speak to someone when the phone disconnected. Horrendous food, do not order or eat here.

I’ve been hesitant to bash what used to be, one of my favourite chains but the time has come. I don’t know if it’s just this branch, or what but, the food is just… yeah. The chain has sneakily been putting up the prices, decreasing the portion sizes, etc - which is an issue with the company. Moving onto the branch, for the past few years, the flavour in the food has gradually been reduced to blandness. The ramen broth tastes like water, the yaki soba noodles tastes like oil with a splash of soy sauce and - god forbid you pay excess of £20 because you want some steak in your food. You get THREE SLICES (not even a full steak) of gristly meat - which have the texture of a durex. I literally could not take a bite of the steak off my fork, and had a tug of war contest between a medium rare steak and my mouth. The most labour-some part is chewing it, as the steak will literally not break down and just becomes a ball of meat. This is likely due to the silver skin which they do not trim off this already tough steak. Safe to say my decade long love for this chain has completely died, thanks, Wagamama.

Wagamamas had always been my favourite spot with 10/10 food always made with top quality items. HOWEVER the staff. Especially the blonde girl. She was extremely unprofessional and lacked basic service skills. We were sat on a table directly next to other customers despite the restaurant being empty. We then moved and she was annoyed by this and informed all other staff members on the floor that we had moved and this resulted in everyone including her ignoring us and taking other tables orders that had arrived after us. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable staff of service should not be targeting specific customers due to a simple moving of tables and affecting the quality of their dining. She then came and stated “ the table is closed” which was very clearly a lie as it doesn’t make sense for a single table to be closed and it was set up and ready for customers as the rest were. Staff who are incapable of remaining professional in a working environment should not be hired and instead should be educated on what providing service is.

I had a birthday party here after going once before and really enjoying it. Even though they no longer do the Vegan 'hot honey chicken' which was absolutely gorgeous and the best thing me and my mother had first time we came, all the food was delicious. I was able to customize my dish to not have broccoli as I hate brocolli and can't eat anything cooked with it, but the dish sounded lovely except that. As a vegan I feel there is a great deal of choice here compared to other places, sometimes there is only one vegan option and you feel it is just to keep you quiet rather than thinking of vegans as people with different tastes - Wagamama makes you feel like they actually care about vegans. We had deserts which we didn't last time and there were lots of vegan options, not just one so vegans are techniqually included. Also, I am transgender female to male but am happy to use male bathrooms, but I was very pleased to see unisex bathrooms, as there are people who indentify as they/them I feel it is much needed. The only reason I've given 4 stars is they didn't have the desert two of my friends ordered but they did tell us so they could order something else and all of our deserts came together. Very helpful staff
