There are two staff members on shift who are clearly not prioritising customers at all. Instead of doing their jobs, they are standing around inside, talking and laughing with each other while customers are left waiting. Every single person who comes in is told “10 minutes,” yet nothing actually moves forward and no real effort is made to serve people efficiently. This is not a one-off delay — it is clear neglect of customer service. People are being ignored while staff behave unprofessionally and show no sense of urgency or responsibility. This kind of behaviour damages your brand and drives customers away. I strongly suggest that management address this issue immediately, review staff conduct, and ensure proper customer service standards are enforced. I expect better from a company like Greggs.

Sweet options in ready abundance. Savory options limited (but late in the day, so expected) Chicken bites were good. Wedges were good. Coffee was vile. Even with milk and 5 (sachet) sugars it tasted very bitter and stale. Vegetarian Sausage Roll was ok. Very dry but did taste ok and was edible. One concern was an employee restocking crisp packet/drinks, who was also cleaning the display glass with a cleaning spray, whilst open Savory food packs were on display. Appreciate due diligence in hygiene standards, but I couldnt help feel there might be an open risk to contamination of food? £10 for two Coffees, two Sausage rolls, Wedges and Chicken bites is great value, but, of course, not to the highest food standards.

We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
