  A warning: This shop seemed fine when collecting a package but sending a return was a different matter. They were unable to scan the necessary barcode but gave me what I thought was a collection receipt and took my package anyway. When a couple of days later I realised there was no tracking information on the Evri app I looked at the receipt I was given in the shop to see that the returns label barcode was not recognised and therefore it wasn’t logged into the system as a return. Had to go back to the shop to query this and found that my package was still there. The young man behind the counter was unable to resolve this and suggested I phone Evri. In the meantime he wanted to keep my package that he was unable to return. Maybe he was worried about getting into trouble but why do you want to keep someone’s goods that you cannot return? That is the service that you’re supposed to be offering. In the end I took my package and will book a home collection from Evri on the app. I’d rather pay the small charge than have this hassle from some clueless staff.
