  The staff were lovely but it's so damn expensive! I miss the affordable Poundland. Sad to say it's not a shop I'll visit often

  I had to wait over 5 mins for somebody to open the staffed tills but otherwise it's a nice store with plenty of space to walk around the aisles. It's certainly busier than the Poundland that was there previously.

  Dear Tesco Team, I wanted to take a moment to share some positive feedback about a security guard at your Tesco Express store. Yesterday around 11:30am, I visited the store with my young son and we were warmly welcomed by a security guard at the entrance. When I mentioned that there was no self-checkout available, he immediately arranged for a member of staff to open the support checkout, which was very helpful. While I was distracted looking for my purse, my son decided to turn it into a game and tried to run out of the store. The security guard handled the situation perfectly — he remained calm, kind, and playful, quickly bringing my son safely back to me. His awareness, professionalism, and genuine care turned what could have been a stressful moment into a positive experience. He is a real credit to your store and I hope he receives recognition for his excellent customer service. Kind regards, Janet
