  literally at closing time, i was left with last resort of going to this tesco to get some sanitary products and they wouldn't let me in, speaking to me through the closed doors at 10:57 that they won't let me in. actually disappointed with this tesco. i would have been in there for a minute max, trying to find what i need for the night/ next week and paying. the security wouldn't let me in and spoke to another male customer to see if i could be let in but no. like i understand they they're trying to close but i can't help when and where im going to start my cycle, no where else is "open" apart from this tesco.

  Security staff is racist and rude for literally no reason. Doesn’t even answer you a “good morning” and keeps following you around being super rude when you ask for information. I don’t understand why security guards in this shop are ALWAYS so rude why you don’t train them to treat people with dignity??? We’re not there asking for a favor where shopping! Spending our money there despite other options we have around.. this is ridiculous I’m not coming back even tho I live around the corner which is sad!

  As others have mentioned here, this is a decent Tesco store in a handy location but it is let down by the security guard, I went at around 1.20pm on 16/03/26 and I was approached several times by the security guard in the space of a few minutes, first asking if I need a basket, then he came back again within a minute asking what I need. I understand he was trying to be helpful, but my experience in retail means that usually this is because he suspects me as a shoplifter. I don't have any previous history of such and I don't think I look suspicious but it is incredibly uncomfortable. My wife has also complained to tesco because she too is also targeted by him. Looking through the names of reviewers could it be the security guard is a little racist as he only seems to target south asians? But this problem persists, I can see reviews from over a year ago but still Tesco chooses to do nothing.
