About

BakeryGreggs
Greggs is a British food to go brand, specialising in fresh bakes, sandwiches, hot drinks and sweet treats. Founded in 1939, Greggs started out selling eggs and yeast by pushbike, ten years later the first shop opened on Gosforth High Street, in Newcastle. Now, over 80 years later Greggs is a household name thanks to their tasty Sausage Rolls, Steak Bakes, Chicken Bakes, Doughnuts, Yum Yums and freshly ground Fairtrade Coffee. With shops across the UK, you're never far away from a Greggs. And with new offerings like Click + Collect and delivery to your door with Just Eat, it's never been easier to get your flakey fix. The Greggs App gives customers tasty rewards every time they shop. From sandwiches to sweet treats, hot drinks and bakes, each time you buy a product, you'll get a stamp. Collect nine stamps in a category, and the tenth item will be free. New customers can also get a free hot drink of their choice, just for downloading the app. The Greggs Foundation aims to build stronger, healthier communities across nine principle programmes including 'The Breakfast Club programme', which helps primary school children get a nutritious start to their school day. Today there are over 680 Breakfast Clubs across the UK, serving wholesome, free breakfasts to around 44,000 children every school day- that's 8.5 million meals a year.

Sometimes the food is good here, however, on occasional the omelette was totally dried out and inedible...

No idea what these other people are complaining about, the service is excellent staff are amazing polite and very helpful food is always a good never had a problem with anything, although there is one particular member of staff i believe her name is Jackie, I've noticed her being very rude to the other employees almost bringing one member of staff to tears, its very degrading and condescending the way she speaks, its not the first time ive heard her attitude towards staff, if this continues this need to be reported to head office

Had a very bad experience today. I visit greggs every morning and I really like visiting the coffee shop as the staff is friendly. However today the girl was really rude and when I asked her about vegetable bake, she said she just started 10minutes ago and just was not wanting to serve me. When I ask her to serve me with 'Caramel latte' she said to me they only do salter caramel which she was totally unaware. She had no knowledge that caramel latte is back ages ago. She said they do only salted caramel and she was just eage to serve other customers and ignored me. So I asked the Other girl to serve me. And when I said to the previous girl to give me her name she said to me ' I Am ignoring you'. And she said take my name from my manager. very rude girl and had no knowledge aboyt what greggs menu is Her name is PARJAL. (Brentford high street)

Frequently Asked Questions About Greggs

What are your opening times?

Opening times for all Greggs shops can be found on our Shop Finder. Just enter your location into the search bar to find opening times, contact details and available facilities.

What happens to your leftover food?

We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations. This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes. In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve. We’re no longer taking new applications for end-of-day food donation partners, but we continue to identify regions where our shops could support a local charitable collection.
