  The store itself is okay and has good products but the staff members are not. We bought 3 toothpastes for £2.09 each but when we went to a till for a lady to scan our stuff and leave she scanned the toothpaste 4 times. We saw the extra scan after we paid and were forced to go to the customer service counter. We went there, showed the lady our receipt and the product and told her she can check our bags if she wanted. She barely glanced at the receipt and asked us if we were sure we bought 3 and not 4. When we confirmed, she started talking to her colleagues trying to confirm we were wrong in some way. When she did in fact find that one of her colleagues did make a mistake, she asked how much one toothpaste cost so we told her, £2.09. She checked her phone then her computer and told us that the brand of toothpaste we bought is apparently 29p. We showed her the receipt multiple times stating that if it were that cheap we wouldn't be buying only 3 (packs of gum right next to her were 85p by the way - a product that is arguably one of the cheapest products in most stores so she clearly knew the toothpaste we bought couldn't be that cheap) she just stared at the receipt and and her phone and said it definitely is 29p. I was in disbelief honestly. The proof of the products price was right in front of her but she was treating us like we had forged the receipt somehow and started checking how long ago we had purchased the products (even though we had our bag full of stuff in a cart indicating we had just bought our stuff) we gave up trying to get a refund and asked if we could just get a fourth toothpaste (that we didn't need.) I have knowledge that most staff members try to help and are quite amazing but the ladies we had at Tescos were treating us like thieves and were not helpful at all.

  Very friendly staff on the self-checkouts, tobacco counter and on security. I come here often, and frequently have nice conversations with the staff, who are always friendly, helpful and provide a good service. The store itself is on the smaller side for a big tesco (no clothing, electronics or household items), but still has everything you'd need and expect. But it is a real shame the pharmacy has closed, and the bakery + hot food section pretty much gone.
