While waiting in line, I noticed the woman in front of me receiving friendly service, but when it was my turn, the staff member was extremely unfriendly and rushed. She processed my transaction before scanning my app, causing me to miss a discount and pay more, and then arrogantly told me I should have done it earlier, showing no willingness to help or provide good service. This unprofessional behavior was very disappointing, and despite living nearby, I will not shop at this store again.
- SHSamuel HillsAug 29, 20243.0The quality of goods sold at this shop is good like it is with all co-op shops I've been too and they don't charge a crazy amount either. However, the customer service is very much flawed. There's often no staff member present when I go up to the till and I've had to wait quite a while before someone comes. There's a plastic window between them and customers, which I understand), but the hole is barely big enough to fit a basket through. I could deal with that though if it wasn't for the fact that they rarely put items in the bags for you after scanning them, which pretty much every other shop does. It's annoying when I have to then reach through and put everything in the bags myself. Yes, there's a self-service bit too, but it's easier to go to the till when you have a lot of stuff and they're generally quicker than me anyway. Overall, this co-op is good for the quality of products, but it's highly lacking in adequate customer service.
