First impressions weren't good, glass front door needed a good clean. Messy and dirty tables, waited a long time for our order, even though shop wasn't busy, meal arrived, both meals warm. Young lady staff very miserable, gave out the impression she didn't want to be there. The toilet wasn't clean, the bowl was brown stained, it needed bleach, would I go in there again, definitely no. Would I recommend NO

Like most people I very rarely visit burger king, but I thought I'd take a chance. I wish I'd gone to taco bell and got the shits from them instead.
I don't have a receipt because the ordering screen didn't have any paper to print one. I believe it was order 1361 between 10:50pm and 11:05pm.
I took the food back home to eat, which is why I couldn't return the food when I realised how disgusting it was.
The coffee has off milk as you can tell by how lumpy it is, which I poured some out to make sure I wasn't losing my mind. Because how can someone not tell the milk is that off when making it?!
The burger had a hair sandwiched in the middle. Not just on the top or outside, actually wedged and squished in the middle.
Inedible £14 meal, 2/3 items absolutely disgusting and can't believe the complete lack of food hygiene from this 'restaurant', especially having worked in fast food previously myself.
Although the guy on the tills seemed lovely and had great music taste, I can't say anything else about coming here was pleasant or even acceptable.
Located at Unit 14 inside the bustling concourse of Liverpool Central Station on Ranelagh Street, this Burger King is the ultimate definition of high-convenience fast food. Because of its prime location directly inside one of the busiest railway hubs in the city, it serves as a massive magnet for commuters rushing to catch a train, shoppers finishing up in the city centre, and those seeking a late-night bite. However, because it operates under constant high-pressure foot traffic, the experience can vary quite a bit.
On the positive side, the convenience factor is unmatched. If you have a ten-minute wait before your next Merseyrail train, you can pop in, use the modern digital self-service kiosks, and grab a meal remarkably quickly. When the kitchen is on its game, the food hits exactly the spot you want from the brand. A classic flame-grilled Whopper or a Chicken Royale arrives hot, the sesame buns are soft, and the fries are generally fresh and well-salted. The staff working the front counter under intense pressure are surprisingly resilient; many of the regular team members are fast, efficient, and do a great job of churning through massive queues without losing their polite edge.
The main drawback comes down to the chaotic station environment and the inevitable wear and tear of such a high-volume spot. Because of the sheer volume of travelers passing through, the small dining area can feel incredibly hectic and cramped. Finding a clean, empty table during the lunchtime rush or late-afternoon commute is a real challenge, as the team often struggles to keep up with clearing trays and wiping down surfaces when the station is packed.
Additionally, because the kitchen operates at an absolute sprint to keep up with train schedules, there can be occasional quality slips. During peak times, you might find your burger has been assembled in a rush with a bit too much mayo, or that the fries have been sitting in the holding bay just a few minutes too long, losing their crispness. The queues can also spill out into the main station walkway, making the whole ordering process feel a bit frantic.
Ultimately, the Central Station Burger King does exactly what it needs to do: it provides hot, familiar food at lightning speed for people on the move. If you are looking for a relaxed, quiet sit-down meal, you would be much better off walking up to the Lord Street branch. But if you need to grab a quick, satisfying bite to eat while waiting for the Ormskirk or Wirral line, it is a highly reliable option that gets the job done.
