Today I paid my Gas and Electric bill £300 I don't usually like carrying large amounts of cash to the shops like this but waited my turn in line. The man on the till. I think he is new. Said 'wait one moment!' Served the man BEHIND me! I am a customer and it was my turn made me WAIT when it was my rightful turn. Then counted all my money slowly holding up to the light. I get it. I used to work on the tills so I know you have to check the money is real. But then he threw my change money back at me like I am a dog or something. About £5 something in change.He didn't put it in my hand on the counter. The receipt he threw too like it was rubbish. I asked for a stapler he threw that on the counter too. SO RUDE!!!! I told him he was rude. I used to work on tills too for years you do NOT treat customers like this if you want them to come back. Paying bills the receipt is proof of purchase and is required to be stapled to the bill to prove I paid it. I would have NEVER treated a customer paying their hard earned money like this. When I told him he was being rude he started acting out and shouting at me. Saying 'It's all on camera.' I was shocked. I will not be treated like this!!! I am shaking. Please tell this man you can't treat people like this.
