  I had the Big Breakfast which was fantastic. I didn't realise you could swap or add things to the breakfast until now. Because of them having self serviced ordering you can see all the options, there's a lot, which meant I was able to have fried bread instead of toast and add mushrooms. Food was hot, well cooked and very tasty. Price is reasonable and what is expect to pay. The lad that served us was very professional and polite. We'll definitely be back.

  Food was delayed, yet stone cold on arrival, especially the bacon and sausage and the cafe was not even busy. Staff were not overwhelmingly welcoming and seemed disinterested and uninvested in the cafe. We ate out of hunger and should have complained but easier not to return.

  Terrible store, clogged aisle, mostly with chatting employees, often major items missing from the shelves. Customer service is appalling. Checking out continues to be a problem. I usually spend around £170 a week but I’d shopped on Ocado, so decided to pop in for half a dozen things. Check outs rammed, self service tills rammed. Told to ‘seek assistance’ for my bananas, only one assistant in my section. Bizarrely, she was ‘taking price tags off a customers purchases so couldn’t help me’. I abandoned the check out, couldn’t get on another till so came back. Said assistant had gone so by now NO assistants on the section. 5 in the other section. After about 20 minutes had elapsed, an assistant appeared, went straight to another customer. I complained. At that point a young girl came up to me and said they were ‘very busy’ (god help her at Christmas) I said it was a debacle and that there had been no assistants, she said ‘they all have their own sections’ , I said but they were all in the other section. She accused me of being ‘rude’. Surely, even in this day and age where we find a)we are being severely restricted as to what we can say b) people are ‘offended’ at the drop of a hat, I am allowed to express by frustration at the poor service? If that girl thinks that’s rude, she’s in for a rude awakening in life!! She told me that ‘if she were a member of my family , I wouldn’t talk to her like that’. What on earth does that mean and what’s it got to do with no one attending the self service checkouts? I’ll stick with Ocado,
