  Myself and friend popped into this lovely pub today had beautiful meal each. was nice and hot plenty of food good choice ..we had the lunch time deal with drink again plenty of choice the young lad that served us was polite kind Happy only worked there for a few days (Joe) but he was doing a fantastic job ... many thanks to all the team .

  My partner and I had a wonderful quiet meal for our anniversary last Saturday. We chose the Mall as we had driven by it a few times in the past and really admired the outside seating area. We booked for a Saturday afternoon which was a good time as I can imagine it gets really busy in the evenings! The food was absolutely sublime, with us both having the Mac and Cheese with some Chicken Strips as a side. The staff were friendly behind the bar and it was a bonus to encounter many doggos on our travels 🐕 Both our servers were polite, enthusiastic about what we had ordered and asked multiple times if we needed anything else, with one of them even offering to close the curtains as the sun was creeping into our eyes over the table - we really appreciated the sentiment! Overall, it seems like a place where you'd have a great time regardless - a drink the see the week out, with friends or for a special occasion, the vibe of The Mall matches perfectly alongside the countryside aesthetic. I'm sure we'll be back soon 😊

  We had a party of 7 for a birthday surprise, the food took 1.5 hours to arrive , when it came the chicken Sunday dinner was a chicken leg, one roast potato and lukewarm warm veg for £19 . The fish and chips were cold & a pot of peas the size of a thimble . It was disappointing to say the least and fair to say we will not be returning.

  Booked today for 5 (3 adults, 2 children), was originally going about 1-30, but called again about 10 mins after booking to rearrange. Said we could be flexible, staff said 3pm would be better for them, agreed and booked. Arrived 2.55 to be told food orders could be up to an hour " worst case". Having driven out there decided to stay, ordered drinks and then ordered food. Well he was right, we had the " worst case" the food took just under the hour to get to us. Don't understand why having agreed to a time which "would be better for us" as noted by staff on the phone we had to wait so long!! The food when we finally got it was freshly cooked and hot, so I guess that's a positive. Sorry, but we won't going back again.

  Lovely little pub we visited for our dinner, food was delicious but we was missing a few items off of our main meals (mac and cheese from the burger, onion rings from the sausage and mash dish) which said it would come with on the menu but it didn’t. Which wasn’t too much of a problem that’s why we never said anything. It was nice to get served at our table, as we expected to order at the till. Selection of drinks was great, and the staff was lovely. My only little bit to mention was I had the sausage and mash and although it was nice, I would definitely recommend the restaurant to have optional vegetables to order with, it was lacking some nice vegetables like carrots/peas that would compliment it. We would definitely come back if we are in the area but I would order something different.
