Food is usually really nice, however most of the tables haven't been reset properly and there isn't enough cutlery on each table for the guests they seat. Also our empty plates were on the table for a long time after we'd eaten, with multiple members of staff walking past and looking at the plates stacked on the table and ignoring them, one lady even brought the kids their desserts and looked at the empty plates but walked away empty handed still. Food is always good, but a little work on the service and some retraining would go a long way.
Quantity over quality.
We went for the all you can eat breakfast for £10(ish)
The amount of food on offer was good, it included the full range of full English breakfast, toast and crumpet options and continental croissant and yoghurt. However most of the hot food did not stay hot long under the heat lamps, even when it was freshly topped up and steaming, it was cold by the time it got to the table (especially the bacon). In addition, the fried eggs were raw when we cut into them covering the rest of our food in slimy uncooked egg white.

I visited to meet my daughter and had a pot of tea nicely presented with a small jug of warm milk, brown sugar and a PG tips teabag - I enjoyed this with the teapot being enough for two cups. The venue is very clean and seems to be very well managed. The offerings include a variety of dishes from mixed grill for £17.49 that includes a 4oz rump steak, two pork sausages, half a chicken breast, beer battered onion rings, two fried eggs, peas and skin on chips. They also have 12” pizza starting at £11.99 fish and chips for on their £5.99 Value meals range, 1/4 lb burgers starting at £12.79 and Sunday roast with beef, turkey or gammon or a mix of the three for £11.99. They have proper sauces (HP and Heinz ketchup) and the staff were all very friendly. If you dine in the restaurant and give your vehicle registration inside you get three hours free parking. If this helped you please like the review - if you are kind enough to follow me I will follow you back. Have a lovely day.

Glen, Kirk, Sintija, Kat, James, Chloe, Olivia, Holly, Morgan, Josh and especially Amanda, I would like to thank you for your excellent service over the years, your friendly smiles & chat I will never forget. Devastating news that the last day is 8 September due to Whitbread's decision to close all their restaurants. I will miss you all.
