Greggs is a British food to go brand, specialising in fresh bakes, sandwiches, hot drinks and sweet treats. Founded in 1939, Greggs started out selling eggs and yeast by pushbike, ten years later the first shop opened on Gosforth High Street, in Newcastle. Now, over 80 years later Greggs is a household name thanks to their tasty Sausage Rolls, Steak Bakes, Chicken Bakes, Doughnuts, Yum Yums and freshly ground Fairtrade Coffee. With shops across the UK, you're never far away from a Greggs. And with new offerings like Click + Collect and delivery to your door with Just Eat, it's never been easier to get your flakey fix. The Greggs App gives customers tasty rewards every time they shop. From sandwiches to sweet treats, hot drinks and bakes, each time you buy a product, you'll get a stamp. Collect nine stamps in a category, and the tenth item will be free. New customers can also get a free hot drink of their choice, just for downloading the app. The Greggs Foundation aims to build stronger, healthier communities across nine principle programmes including 'The Breakfast Club programme', which helps primary school children get a nutritious start to their school day. Today there are over 680 Breakfast Clubs across the UK, serving wholesome, free breakfasts to around 44,000 children every school day- that's 8.5 million meals a year.

Amazing staff very helpful, polite and considerate!
Went in and was met by a young man with long hair and I think he was wearing a cap/glasses(my memory is awful) I had wanted a mango drink but sadly they had sold out he was very polite about it explaining it was a popular item today so it had sold out and recommended other flavours. Very friendly and amazing customer service. Only took a couple of minutes to get my drink :)
I ended up getting cherry lemonade which was delicious!

This store never has the click and collect service turned on. Have complained multiple times to the enquiry centre and asked if there is a reason why but never get a response.

The food that we got from this Greggs was served hot and tasted amazing, and the indoor seating area was big enough (it would probably be really busy in the holidays!). The woman that served us behind the counter was friendly. The toilets were clean too. Will probably be using this Greggs again if I'm ever in Mablethorpe!

Refused to be served to buy a takeout drink because I had two dogs in a pet buggy.mon my own definitely not leaving them unattended outside alone. He was rude and ignorant and not prepared to serve me. Don’t worry Greggs excellent service from Couplands, couldn’t be more helpful to serve me from the door. Never ever will I use a Greggs again.

What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
We’re no longer taking new applications for end-of-day food donation partners, but we continue to identify regions where our shops could support a local charitable collection. To find out more or nominate an organisation visit: https://www.greggsfoundation.org.uk/unsold-food-donations.
Why do you have different prices regionally?
It is very common for retailers to have regional prices. This is because the costs of running a business can vary across different parts of the country and in certain locations, for example rent costs. We always keep our prices as low as possible for our customers.
