  Nice spot, friendly service. Slight delay with my cocktails as not all staff trained on them but well handled by team. Spicy margarita wasn't quite the usual recipe but a nice twist on it.

  We were a party of 6 and had to wait for ages for our food. Other tables near us arrived after us but got their food quickly. The staff were friendly but lacked training about service. Hopefully they will get better and this will not happen to other guests.

  Didn't eat, but drinks good and well priced, really lovely landlady and staff. Will be back again to eat and for a longer visit. Very popular quiz on Tuesday evenings!

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had an absolutely fantastic meal at The Wig & Mitre in Lincoln! 🥰 The chicken dinner was genuinely superb — beautifully cooked, packed with flavour, and accompanied by some exquisite trimmings. And then there was the pièce de résistance… THE LINCOLN PIG IN BLANKET. 🐖🌭 What an absolute masterpiece. I was not emotionally prepared for how good that was. Everything was delicious, the portions were generous, and the whole meal felt like exactly what you want from a proper Lincoln pub dinner. The food was excellent from start to finish, and I left extremely happy, extremely full, and already thinking about when I can come back. A thoroughly wonderful meal and one I’d happily recommend. If you’re in Lincoln and fancy a cracking dinner, give the Wig & Mitre a go! 10/10. Would absolutely destroy another Lincoln pig in blanket. 😂❤️

  Booked for Sunday lunch at 4 pm. Arrived and they didn’t have our first two choices of wine. Ordered the roast chicken. Firstly we were told they had run out of stuffing which we accepted. Before our meal arrived the waitress advised that even they had taken our order, Sunday lunch had now finished and we would have to order again from the mid week menu. At this point we left, never to return again. This was a fantastic restaurant in the past, sadly not the case now. We ended up at the Duke William who fitted us in snd we had a fantastic Sunday roast
