  Needs more staff the poor young girl was doing her best but she was really struggling. Needs more than one staff member working. The chef was trying to help her but kept disappearing into the kitchen

  Walker in for dinner on Sunday around 5.30pm, the place was half empty. A nice waitress was ready to clean a table for us before her supervisor came over and said we could not get a table for 1hr 30min…. Pfffff absolute joke, you literally just turned money away. No wonder these places are failing.. We walked and glad we did as we ate at the White Horse in Lincoln which was fantastic.

  Unfortunately, the quality of food and service has taken a significant dive in recent months, especially Sunday roasts which are essentially just packet (sandwich) meat and a bit of overcooked veg. We used to love it here, but it's simply too expensive now and the quality is too poor. Go elsewhere for Sunday Roasts - Bomber Command (across the road), Homestead or The Bull in Bracebridge Heath (local village).
