We came into BK for a quick bite to eat after a long day. The service was quick and pleasant. The food was hot, fresh, and the burgers looked as though they had been built with care. The toilet was clean, as was the lobby. Bins weren’t overflowing, and I didn’t have to wrestle with flies unlike some other fast food restaurants. All in all, a nice experience in the Grantham store.

Sadly most McDonald's outlets are hangouts for rowdy teenagers. In fairness staff do try to control.

Steakhouse Angus Meal £11.09 (including large diet coke). After finishing diet coke, requested politely for tap water. Denied. She said, "We don't sell tap water. Ask Costa (next door), they may sell tap water. Sorry." Point blank. Stern. Ouch! No compassion. Still thirsty. Went home. CHK 3626. 21 Aug 26 13:23 PM Order 3626. EARLIER: McDonald's. Choc Honeycomb Frappe £4.25 21/08/2026 11:59:01 Order: 037 Requested tap water for still thirsty. NO PROBLEMO!! I asked for a bit of tap water, staff gave me plenty, plus adding a few ice. EMPATHY? Absolutely. Train staff at Burger King to be more customer friendly. Burger King, seriously, profit much?
