Normally go to Tescos every week for years today we went into the cafe and a girl that was in the kitchen shouted at my mum who didn’t realise that her trolley was slightly in the way of the exit door , no need to speak to a customer , Tescos you should be ashamed for having such a rude colleague .Rude and no manners at all

Less than impressed with the woman on the checkouts. Totaly miserable while taking off the security tags, no manners, no engagement, she is British sounding as i heard her accent so its not like she can't speak the lingo. Also she yanked the coathanger out of my hand, she's puling the coathanger away from me while im still releasing my grip. My !um as i was walking out made comment about it so it wasnt just me

Tesco Click & Collect — Please Do Better I placed a small Click & Collect order yesterday to collect today, as we’re going away for a couple of days. Had I known what the weather was going to be like, I might have thought twice! I arrived during my 12–1pm collection slot to torrential rain. Every collection bay was occupied, and I watched two women repeatedly running in and out of the store to bring customers’ shopping out. While I was waiting, I noticed that one of these women was clearly becoming quite emotional. And honestly, I’m not surprised. They were lugging heavy crates backwards and forwards in what was practically a monsoon. They were absolutely soaked. Yes, they are provided with coats, but in weather like that, those poor women may as well have been wearing a vest. There is only so much a coat can do when you are repeatedly running through torrential rain carrying crates of shopping. Their service to me was impeccable. They were polite, efficient and worked incredibly hard despite the conditions. When I had my shopping safely in the car, and knowing that one of the women had only about 15 minutes left of her shift. I went into the store and filled two gift bags with some little “self-care” products as a thank you for what I had witnessed. But here’s my question to Tesco: Your latest annual results show £2.7 billion in adjusted operating profit from your UK & ROI business. Can you really not spare some of that money to provide a proper canopy or covered area for your Click & Collect colleagues? I appreciate that weather like today is exceptional, but these women were working their absolute backsides off in conditions that were miserable to watch, never mind actually work in. They are supermarket workers, not human rain gauges. As a fellow human being, my heart genuinely hurt watching two women work so hard in those conditions. The service was impeccable. The working conditions were not. Do better, Tesco. Your colleagues deserve to be protected from the elements while they are doing their jobs.
