This should have come as a warning but we went anyway. The service was terrible except from the blonde girl who was lovely. The food came and the pork stunk like it was made a month ago and it was completely out of date even know we was told that it came in yesterday. The beef was reheated slop that tasted bland and was stale and hard. All together we had a terrible terrible experience and all of our stomachs are hurting and the person who had the pork feels ill. I would stay far away from this mockery of a ‘roast’. The 1 star is for the blonde girl who served us as our original waitress ran away.

We ordered 'British chicken & ham hock pie', with chips, veggies and a pint of local ale. Simply delicious and very comforting! They serve really big portions there, my colleague wasn't able to finish his plate. The staff was really friendly and helpful. And the overall price was still very affordable. If I ever come back to Magna Park for business trip, I'll definitely go to The Old Royal Oak again.
