  Had a great night here last night. Food was fantastic and atmosphere was great. Our server Archie stood out as one of the best servers we have had in a long time. Very friendly, helpful and good attitude. Highly recommend

  Great time with family and friends this evening. An impromptu dinner out and they accommodated us with our last minute booking of 8 (4 kids & 4 adults). Service was exceptional, our pies were taking a little longer than expected so we were offered a complementary round of drinks which was above and beyond! As we hadn’t even noticed the delay thank you so much for the fantastic evening! 5/5 ⭐️

  Book ahead - no matter the time or day. Often had a really enjoyable experience here. We've booked ahead before and been told to pick any time, even when calling for the same day. There's been multiple tables available on many evenings too. However on this occasion, we turned up midweek at a reasonable time, and were told (politely) the kitchen was at capacity and they wouldn't accommodate any walk ins. They weren't even a 3rd full. Shame for a local pub like this to not have this service available.
