  most delightful banana bread matcha i've literally ever had! i went late on a saturday with few customers so my service was pretty fast. god damn that matcha was stunning i'll dream about that

  Came in on Saturday. Been here a few times already and each time I get the same lovely brilliant service from all of the staff. They are very friendly and always keeping themselves busy and happy to give recommendations. The food is amazing, this time I had the ultimate avocado with bacon and egg and it was just perfect. Well done to your team they are all so lovely and fantastic!

  Has gone down hill over the last year, I keep giving it another try as I want to support the town. However it just feels there is not enough staff. Tables not cleared, long delays for food or told each time there will be a long wait for food. This really isn’t difficult resource the business accordingly

  The barista closing the store today was very kind and thoughtful, I wish I had asked for his name to give him a proper shout-out. They also make the best oat lattes in Melton and serve nice toasties and pastries.

  Awful awful awful! I do not recommend this cafe for coffee or food! In Leicester city centre there are two esquires and both have a halal menu available. The food quality is fantastic and the coffee is great! Melton Mowbray franchise is shockingly bad and they clearly don’t know what good food is! I ordered scrambled eggs on toast and I got microwaved eggs with a packet of salt and pepper. My partner ordered the Shakshuka on sourdough. For clarification, my missus is from Saudi Arabia and she knows what Shakshuka tastes like and what they served was clearly NOT that. It tasted like some rubbish from a jar and was awful. I asked for fresh orange juice and the bottle they provided was for some weird wonkey oranges? They don’t taste like oranges and the juice was weird. Don’t get me started on the coffee. I’m a coffee snob, so didn’t have high expectations from the outset, but it was truly awful. There is a subway and Greggs across the street, go there instead.
