I went in yesterday afternoon to do some shopping. I used the self-service checkout. The til was playing up. It also scanned a sandwich twice. The first time it said.. item not scanned. I scanned it again. Then it came up as twice scanned! I called for assistance. This old looking fella, with greying hair, came over. He said it's because it's not in a meal deal. I said what's that got to do with it. I'm not paying double the cost for one sandwich. I also stated its included in a meal deal. I even pointed it out to him. He said.. ok and took off the other item. Then gave me a stare and walked off. Thanks Einstein. Not. They should hire people a bit more educated, friendly and literate.

Tremendously change over the past few months. Everything is cleaner and brighter. Bargain prices with the clubcard deals. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

The manager of this store is totally unreliable and will not stick to his word. I purchased some items that were the wrong size (my fault) and returned them to the store. I explained my predicament and asked if i could have goods to the value as i did not require a refund. Firstly he said we don't sell the items you have returned (tesco head office confirmed they were on sale there for several years) he said he would ask his boss and call me 2 weeks passed no call i rang the store and was promised a reply within 24 hours now months later still no call. We were loyal customers for 38 years never again will we shop there.
