Greggs is a British food to go brand, specialising in fresh bakes, sandwiches, hot drinks and sweet treats. Founded in 1939, Greggs started out selling eggs and yeast by pushbike, ten years later the first shop opened on Gosforth High Street, in Newcastle. Now, over 80 years later Greggs is a household name thanks to their tasty Sausage Rolls, Steak Bakes, Chicken Bakes, Doughnuts, Yum Yums and freshly ground Fairtrade Coffee. With shops across the UK, you're never far away from a Greggs. And with new offerings like Click + Collect and delivery to your door with Just Eat, it's never been easier to get your flakey fix. The Greggs App gives customers tasty rewards every time they shop. From sandwiches to sweet treats, hot drinks and bakes, each time you buy a product, you'll get a stamp. Collect nine stamps in a category, and the tenth item will be free. New customers can also get a free hot drink of their choice, just for downloading the app. The Greggs Foundation aims to build stronger, healthier communities across nine principle programmes including 'The Breakfast Club programme', which helps primary school children get a nutritious start to their school day. Today there are over 680 Breakfast Clubs across the UK, serving wholesome, free breakfasts to around 44,000 children every school day- that's 8.5 million meals a year.

Ordered a bacon and egg roll on uber eats.. it took 2 hours to arrive (granted not their fault) however this is what I received when it did come.. disgusting. No butter, no sauce, egg that has been microwaved beyond recognition. How can someone think this is an acceptable standard?!

Absolutely amazing customer service at Greggs in Market Harborough. The staff are always professional, polite and incredibly efficient, even when the shop is busy.
On my latest visit, I accidentally picked up the wrong item from the shelf because I mistakenly thought it was something else. It was completely my own error, not the staff’s fault. I took it back and explained that I did not eat that particular item, and I even said they could have it back or I could give it to someone in need.
The two ladies behind the counter were exceptionally kind and immediately told me not to worry. They offered to exchange it for anything I wanted in the shop. When the item I originally wanted was unavailable, they kindly gave me a more expensive alternative without any fuss whatsoever.
It was a genuinely thoughtful gesture that they were under no obligation to make. Both members of staff were extremely professional, friendly and respectful, and they handled the situation perfectly. I believe one was a new staff member, Filipino or Thai lady possibly and the other was an English lady. Both very kind and great at their jobs.
Brilliant customer service and a real credit to the Market Harborough branch. Experiences like this are exactly why customers keep coming back. Thank you!

Sometimes we are going to Greggs Market Harborough when we are going to shopping in Market Harborough. . We are mostly ordering sausage rolls or chicken or steak Bake and teas. But the problem is car parking. We're parking our car in Harborough District council car parking near Sainsbury's and only 30 minutes free car parking. So we're running to Greggs. 10 minutes will take to reach Greggs and 10 minutes will take to get our ordered food. Then 10 minutes will take to reach car parking. Then we quickly take our car from parking not to get parking penalty fine. Then we park our car on somewhere roadside parking bay and sit relaxed and drink our tea.
The main advantage of Greggs is the cheap prices. Low and middle income families are very much depending on Greggs because of the affordable prices. 🙏🙏🙏.

What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
We’re no longer taking new applications for end-of-day food donation partners, but we continue to identify regions where our shops could support a local charitable collection. To find out more or nominate an organisation visit: https://www.greggsfoundation.org.uk/unsold-food-donations.
Why do you have different prices regionally?
It is very common for retailers to have regional prices. This is because the costs of running a business can vary across different parts of the country and in certain locations, for example rent costs. We always keep our prices as low as possible for our customers.
