  Today around 3:30pm I bought a Tesco Meal Deal and picked up a 600ml Pepsi bottle because it had a sticker clearly showing it was part of the deal. When it failed to scan, I first thought I had picked the wrong item, but after checking properly it was obvious the issue was Tesco’s system, not me. Your manager even confirmed this by testing another bottle which scanned correctly. The manager was polite and helpful, however the lady on the till was quite rude throughout the interaction and kept talking back instead of simply acknowledging the confusion. Rather than apologising for the system error, I was made to feel like I needed to apologise for causing an issue that wasn’t my fault. I was even told I “shouldn’t buy this bottle again”, despite it being labelled as part of the Meal Deal. If an item is clearly advertised as included in the promotion, customers are obviously going to pick it up. The problem was with Tesco’s system contradicting its own promotion, not with the customer. I would appreciate this being fed back properly because no customer should be made to feel uncomfortable over a fault that was entirely caused by Tesco’s own system. And train the lady at the till better . She had no customer skills .🤦🏻‍♀️

  Not shopping here any longer due to a female member of staff who is regularly on the till. She has accused my little boy of trying to steal (he is 5) when he was actually putting his keyring in his bag. She has made several comments when my children are helping me hold items and reminding me that they are holding them so I ensure I scan them. She also makes comments when I am scanning items and if something fails to scan tells me straight away before I have a chance to sort. I feel watched every time I go and she is constantly making rude comments, she does not smile, and she never makes friendly conversation. She just makes my children and I feel very uncomfortable for absolute no reason. There is absolutely no justification for this behaviour and I will be taking my custom elsewhere from now on.

  Staff always friendly and helpful. Even know some of them by their names now! Great little Tesco Express.
