The Red Lion

Set in the heart of the picturesque village of Great Bowden, The Red Lion is a beautifully refurbished country pub inspired by the surrounding countryside. We are passionate about sustainability and quality, sourcing much of our meat from our own farm in nearby Great Easton and working closely with local suppliers wherever possible. Alongside our seasonal menus, we offer a carefully selected range of ales, lagers, wines, Champagne, cocktails and spritzers. Our unique covered outdoor dining area, The Lion Dens, provides heated private booths with TVs and full table service year-round. Surrounded by a Mediterranean-inspired garden, it's the perfect place to enjoy great food, drinks and hospitality whatever the weather.
