Greggs is a British food to go brand, specialising in fresh bakes, sandwiches, hot drinks and sweet treats. Founded in 1939, Greggs started out selling eggs and yeast by pushbike, ten years later the first shop opened on Gosforth High Street, in Newcastle. Now, over 80 years later Greggs is a household name thanks to their tasty Sausage Rolls, Steak Bakes, Chicken Bakes, Doughnuts, Yum Yums and freshly ground Fairtrade Coffee. With shops across the UK, you're never far away from a Greggs. And with new offerings like Click + Collect and delivery to your door with Just Eat, it's never been easier to get your flakey fix. The Greggs App gives customers tasty rewards every time they shop. From sandwiches to sweet treats, hot drinks and bakes, each time you buy a product, you'll get a stamp. Collect nine stamps in a category, and the tenth item will be free. New customers can also get a free hot drink of their choice, just for downloading the app. The Greggs Foundation aims to build stronger, healthier communities across nine principle programmes including 'The Breakfast Club programme', which helps primary school children get a nutritious start to their school day. Today there are over 680 Breakfast Clubs across the UK, serving wholesome, free breakfasts to around 44,000 children every school day- that's 8.5 million meals a year.

Standard fast food venue, we all like a Greggs sausage roll! This place is on Thurmaston shopping centre, it's saving grace is that it has a toilet a rare commodity in this shopping centre the only other being in Dunelm.

Ordered through just eat, and order arrived, 4 bags, I only ordered some slices!! Looked at order, was a for Kayleigh on Uber Eats. Driver spoke zero English, signalled order wasn't mine, he took order back but I've still been charged, no food, money gone, having to speak with a bot!! 5 to 7 days just to get what im owed back, still sat here hungry, terrible service all round

Coalville Greggs! Your manager Tracey is very rude, not polite or kind to customers at all. I have had several runnings with her. She states it is NOT a hot counter, and doesn't like it when customers ask to wait for a hot pizza. She is very unprofessional at her job. When asking to wait for a hot pizza, she says it is NOT a hot counter. Fair enough I will wait for a fresh hot pizza!!! I can NOT eat a stone cold, hard pizza, the cheese has gone all hard and dry. When I ask for this, she moans, treats people horrible and doesn't have any manners at all towards me, but I notice she does for others! Obviously my face does NOT fit and that is fine, but do NOT try to sell me cold, hard pizzas and then tell me what do I expect it ISNT a hot counter !!!! I think you will find pizzas are hot when cooked not cold!!!
Learn to respect your customers and not treat them like crap... or I will be making a formal complaint to head office, ( I have all the relevant information and proof of this horrible behaviour towards other customers aswell as myself ) I witnessed the same thing happened to another lady ( pizza was cold ) she told there was nothing they can do, that pizza went straight in the bin by the customers, as she wouldn't swap it and they couldn't eat it.
Pull your act together ( manager ) TRACEY, learn some manners, kindness and respect towards your customers 😊

What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
We’re no longer taking new applications for end-of-day food donation partners, but we continue to identify regions where our shops could support a local charitable collection. To find out more or nominate an organisation visit: https://www.greggsfoundation.org.uk/unsold-food-donations.
Why do you have different prices regionally?
It is very common for retailers to have regional prices. This is because the costs of running a business can vary across different parts of the country and in certain locations, for example rent costs. We always keep our prices as low as possible for our customers.
